This project involved a non-complying subdivision for light industrial uses in the rural zone. Subdivision and Land-use consents were obtained via a public consultation and hearings procedure. The engineering design and contract supervision completed by Barr and Harris Surveyors Ltd included extensive upgrades of existing roads and services in addition to construction of new access and services within the subdivision. Aspects of the development included stormwater ponds with fore bay treatment and retention areas with controlled outlet to existing watercourses. These included discharge and earthworks consents obtained from Environment Waikato.
